The World Education Summit 2023 has now drawn to a close, leaving thousands of educators from around the world feeling inspired and enriched. Over four days, 443 speakers from 87 countries shared their knowledge and expertise with eager attendees. We are incredibly proud to have played a significant role in this prestigious event, which focused on learning, networking, and supporting continuous professional development.
Our CEO, Dawn Haywood, served as an ambassador for the summit, hosting numerous sessions alongside industry leaders such as Baroness Sue Campbell, Professor Michael Fullan, and Professor Carol Campbell. These insightful discussions covered topics ranging from leadership and legacy to deep learning and sustainability.
At the start of the week, Dawn Haywood and ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s (WAT) Director of Operations, Chris Berry, explored our journey to net zero. They talked about the important role education has to play in climate change and shared WAT's approach to turning aspiration into action through climate education and decarbonising our estate.
